Flosstradamus have set out over the past 12 months to break a whole host of rules about the music industry, nightlife clichés and the various stereotypes that are befit of a typical electronic music act. Their rise to prominence has seen them, through a number of free mixtape/EP releases, build an admirable fanbase around the world without the help of a label and largely through their own hype and online presence. The Chicago duo of J2K and Autobut (Josh Young and Curt Cameruci) avoid drugs and alcohol, and spend the vast majority of their time when not on stage – making music in their mobile studio. We caught up with Flosstradamus during their recent visit to London, England for a chat and rolled along with them to their sold-out show at The Nest. Watch what went down in the latest HYPETRAK TV episode above.
